The Störtebeker Festspiele in Ralswiek on the island of Rügen are a live theater event that has been staged every summer since 1993 on one of the largest and most beautiful open-air stages in Europe. The audience is immersed in a medieval world full of adventure, intrigue, love and likable pirates. Every year, the Störtebeker Festspiele present a new production with an impressive stage set and beautiful costumes. 150 performers, horses, ships, spectacular stunts, impressive special effects and a big fireworks display make the Störtebeker Festspiele a truly unique experience.
