Forest GUM

Forest GUM was founded in 2019 by Thomas Krämer. The start-up has made it its mission to bring sustainable routines into everyday life. The range includes plastic-free, plant-based chewing gum and, since February 2024, fruit gums in fully compostable packaging. With a highly motivated team of now eleven employees, FOREST GUM is available throughout Germany at almost all relevant retailers and produces over 100 tons of chewing gum a year.

To promote forest protection in Germany, FOREST GUM launched the “Wild Growth” project in 2023: on 100 hectares in North Rhine-Westphalia, a forest reserve is being created that regenerates an ecosystem, binds 17,000 tons of CO2 and provides a habitat for native species. All true to the motto: Chew good. Do good.
